exploring we will go

A while back we made the promise to each other to always make time to seek adventure as a family (you can read about it here). Exploring new places and going outside is a big part of our daily lives and once in a while I like to share a little peek into our adventures.

Ponytail Falls is located in the Columbia River Gorge and one of our favorite kid friendly hikes!
p.s. thank you One Lane Road for my super cool lets go on an adventure hat!

Our kids LOVE that hike too! Every time we head out to the coast it's their favorite, much-anticipated stop (besides the ocean, that is).

It is so wonderful your take you child on these adventures. Most kids and adults are computer or tv bound!

Really appreciate you linking to your hikes and adventures since we're always looking for fun places to explore here in Oregon. Thank you!! I was guessing Silver Falls :)

Was just at the Columbia Gorge! We just got back from vacation in Oregon & Washington. I used your blog as a guide on places to go. We loved your recommendations about driving up highway 101. One day we drove from Portland out to 101 and all the way up to Washington, eventually Seattle. Even stopped at Ecola and Cannon Beach for lunch. We had a blast! Now we're planning on moving out to the area soon.

Love your posts!
